Brasil volta a ser Brasil

Aparentemente em função do pouco entrosamento com o "novo" levantador, Marcelinho, o Brasil não viu a cor da bola contra os americanos e começou mal na Copa do Mundo. Mas, a partir do segundo jogo os brasileiros começaram a se reencontrar, Marcelinho e os atacantes brazucas começaram a falar a mesma língua, o saque passou a funcionar, ataque, contra-ataque idem, enfim a Copa do Mundo para o Brasil começou a partir do 2º jogo. A lavada que demos na Bulgaria (3 a 0 com direito a um humilhante 25/14 no primeiro set) foi uma afirmação de que o Brasil tinha mesmo voltado a ser o Brasil que conhecemos, o Brasil do Bernardinho. Agora enfrentamos algumas babas de seleção, Australia, Tunísia e Koréia. Esperamos que a rapaziada não perca o ritmo e mantenha o bom voleibol apresentado.

  • Ainda há poucas semanas, a propósito dos Jogos Olímpicos, se falava por todo o país, no apoio que é preciso dar aos atletas não profissionais e suas equipas. Para que todos possam atingir resultados positivos internacionalmente. Resultados esses que dignifiquem Portugal e que nos façam orgulhosos. Todos os responsáveis, desde os desportivos aos políticos, concordaram com tal facto.
    Os dirigentes das federações aproveitaram para mostrar nos "media" as suas dificuldades, que se transformam em desculpas para os insucessos. Queixam-se de falta de apoios, de meios, de estruturas. E surpreendentemente ainda acusam os seus atletas e clubes de falta de brio, de capacidade de sofrimento, de respeito pelo povo e pelo país.

    Mas será que não começa nas federações a falta de apoio aos clubes e aos atletas? Será que não é nas estruturas federativas – onde se instalam lobby's – que estão as dificuldades para atingir melhores resultados? Será que não começa nos dirigentes a responsabilidade pelos fracos resultados? (até no futebol, se vê a pobreza dos órgãos dirigentes, que felizmente é encoberta pela qualidade dos nossos jogadores e pela quantidade de dinheiro envolvida)

    Um bom exemplo disto, é o da Federação Portuguesa de Voleibol. Esta, foi recentemente convidada pela Confederação Brasileira de Voleibol, para escolher um clube português que disputasse o 8º Torneio de Salompas no Brasil. Reputadíssimo torneio internacional de voleibol feminino que este ano terá a participação do Rexona (Campeão Brasileiro), Finasa (Vice-Campeão Brasileiro), Pinheiros (3º classificado Brasileiro), Scavolini Pesaro (Campeão Italiano) e CDC Mirador (Rép.Dominicana). E o que fizeram os dirigentes portugueses?

    Os dirigentes portugueses, em vez de convidarem uma equipa do campeonato nacional, resolveram mascarar a selecção nacional com o nome de "Kinder Voleibol" e participar no torneio, que desde sempre foi aberto a clubes e não a selecções. É este o apoio que querem dar ás equipas portuguesas? Ainda há dias, o seleccionador nacional Juan Diaz dizia: "O que falta a Portugal é um pouco mais de nível no Campeonato Nacional para que as jogadoras possam desenvolver-se"

    Ora, se é preciso dar mais nível ao campeonato nacional, um torneio deste tipo, seria o ideal para fazer crescer as nossas equipas. Temos algumas como o CA Trofa (Campeão 2008, 2007 e 2005) ou CS Madeira (Campeão 2006 e 2004) que até já têm algumas participações nas competições europeias (com grandes dificuldades financeiras, já que os apoios escasseiam) em que obtiveram os resultados possíveis. Resultados esses que têm como seu expoente máximo a vitória do CA Trofa sobre o Asystel Novara (Itália) na Top Teams Cup 2006, e respectiva passagem aos oitavos de final.

    Tão grave quanto isto, é a má imagem que vão dar do voleibol português. Isto porque infelizmente, a selecção feminina é extremamente fraca (consequência óbvia da falta de apostas e apoios da federação aos clubes) e assim, não estará ao nível de representar o voleibol português num torneio desta dimensão.

    Atrevo-me a dizer que não são necessários mais apoios por parte do Estado. Não são necessárias melhores políticas desportivas. Não é necessário mais esforço por parte dos clubes e dos atletas. É necessário mudar a mentalidade das estruturas federativas. Já para não dizer, que é necessário mudar os actuais dirigentes federativos.
